meet your roaster
Hi I’m Laura, founder of Remix Roasters since 2023. You can usually find me walking in nature with my soul-dog, Milo, and then enjoying a well earned flat white. This is how it all began for me, through my deep passion for exceptional coffee and the desire to experiment I decided “I want to make my own!”
So I embarked on a mission to learn exactly how I could acheive this and through studying at the London School of Coffee I became a member of the SCA (Speciality Coffee Association). I learnt the art of Baristaing and Roasting and gained skills and qualifications in these subjects. But gaining the knowledge was just the tip of the iceberg, I then went on a journey discovering new flavours and different roast profiles, and Remix was born. I take great joy in developing a truly harmonious coffee experience that delights your senses and invigorates your day.
With growth I intend on expanding my product range from South America to Africa and aim to donate a percentage of profits to charities for dogs, such The Dogs Trust and Woodgreen Pets Charity, as dogs mean the world to me. They have given me so much in life and I’d love to give them a little something back in return.

100% araBICA BEANS
The beans I import are all sustainably sourced and farmed in South America and Africa. The provenance of my raw beans enables me to produce some of the finest coffee available, whilst supporting the local economy around their origin. My beans are all SCA approved, classing Remix coffee as speciality coffee.
ethics/quality
When it comes to the ethics of coffee growing, my focus is only on speciality coffee to help the farmers and all their hard work along with supporting their environment. The high quality coffee has transparent traceability including name of producer, farm, processing station and specific region within the country.
Perfect Blend
The roasts I offer cover a wide range of flavours to suit everyones individual tastes. This is largely due to how the raw bean is farmed and processed and my vast hours researching where I can get certain flavours from. I’ll then draw out the notes as best I can whilst roasting, leaving you to add the final touch through extraction when you brew your perfect coffee.
